Priyanka Chopra has returned to India and is now back-in-action for some work. She will start working on Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ in a few days from now but prior to that, she has already begun preparing for Shonali Bose’ next.
Initially, there were rumours that the ‘Margarita With a Straw’ director Shonali Bose is making a film with Priyanka Chopra, Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. But, there was no confirmation on the same from either of the actors.
But, Priyanka Chopra has confirmed it by posting a picture of the script on her Insta story. In the picture shared, we see the name of the film on its 29th draft written as ‘The Sky Is Pink’. While Shonali will be helming the film, the Hindi dialogues have been written by October and Piku writer Juhi Chaturvedi. “And it begins #prep #hindimovie” [sic] read Priyanka’s caption.
If reports are to be believed then Priyanka Chopra will play Zaira Wasim’s mother in the film that is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, a young motivational speaker who was born with a rare disorder.
An Indian news outlet quoted a source as saying, “The movie is based on Aisha’s life and her book My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Aisha’s role in the film. The film goes on floors in August this year.”
