Dimple Kapadia, whom we last saw in Welcome Back, will join the second schedule of Karan Johar’s Bhramastra in Bulgaria soon. She will be returning to the screen after three years.
A source informed an Indian tabloid, “She will be seen opposite Nagarjuna in the film. It is to Karan’s credit that he could get the nod from Dimple.”
Karan Johar has managed to pull off a casting coup with his upcoming production, Brahmastra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Karan announced recently that Nagarjuna will be playing a special role in the film.
Karan had posted, “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only @iamnagarjuna doing an extremely “special” role in our film #BRAHMASTRA!! Directed by Ayan Mukerji@SrBachchan @aliaa08 #RanbirKapoor …thank you sir for your love and your beautiful energy.”
Brahmastra is a supernatural romantic fairy-tale and is the first of the trilogy that is being planned by Dharma Productions.
Ranbir Kapoor said in a recent interview that it is important for the film to do well so that they can make sequels to the film.
Ranbir and Alia have already wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Bulgaria earlier this year. The actors will be joined by Amitabh Bachchan in Bulgaria.
The film is slated to release on Independence Day next year and we are already counting down days!
