Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt’s camaraderie in the Munna Bhai series became iconic. As such, Munna and Circuit are considered to be an epitome of friendship.
Now, as per reports in a leading film magazine, Ranbir Kapoor, who has become the latest favourite of Hirani’s is all set to be a part of Munna Bhai 3. Reportedly, he will be replacing Arshad Warsi as Circuit in the Sanjay starter film.
Talking about it, a source stated to the magazine, “Seeing Ranbir’s performance in Sanju everyone is impressed. The makers believe Ranbir and Sanjay will share great on-screen chemistry considering their rapport with each other.”
Earlier, while talking about Munna Bhai 3, Hirani said to a Mumbai-based publication that he could’ve taken any of them and released another film, knowing people would watch it.
But he doesn’t want to make a Munna Bhai which is not as good, if not better, than the previous two. He also said that he is going to make just one more after which someone else can take the franchise forward and it has to be equally good.
Currently, Ranbir and Rajkumar are riding high on the success of their latest outing Sanju which is the biopic on Sanjay Dutt.
