Student of the Year 2 kick-started earlier this year in Mussourie and it was scheduled to release in November this year.
The film starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles, will now release on a new date. To announce this news, Producer Karan Johar took to his Twitter page.
He declared, “There is a NEW DATE for #SOTY2!!!! The admissions are now in summer 2019!!! Watch this space! @punitdmalhotra @iTIGERSHROFF @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18 @foxstarhindi”
KJo then unveiled the posters on Twitter, specifying that the movie will come out in May next year.
The movie is being shot in the exotic locales of Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh as well as in Mumbai and Pune.
Ananya and Tara have become good friends as they shot for Student of the Year 2 and it’s evident on their Instagram posts and lunch dates.
Tiger was accompanied by his girlfriend and actress Disha Patani during the film’s shoot.
A few days back, Punit had shared a photo of Student of the Year banner on his Instagram page. He captioned it stating, “Back to work! #student2”
Talking about Tiger, apart from SOTY 2, the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming directorial.
Whereas Tara is paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake.
