From Priyanka returning to Sidharth and Janhvi’s pairing, speculations regarding Dostana 2 have been doing its rounds in the media. However, Karan Johar has cleared all rumours.
The Takht director took to Twitter to clear all the conjectures. He wrote, “Hello!!! All news circulating about DOSTANA 2 is untrue!!! Lots of speculation which is entirely baseless!!!”
Earlier, Bollywood Hungama reported that a source who said Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor have been finalised for the film:
“Karan Johar always wanted to make Dostana 2, especially after the first film worked so well. Now finally he has a script for the film, which of course will speed up production.
As for the cast, Karan has finalised both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, and is currently looking out for the third lead role that will again be a male lead”, the source said.

Dostana is a 2008 Bollywood comedy film which stars John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
