Imtiaz Ali took to his Instagram page and announced his next film which will be based on Radha and Krishna’s love story.
The director shared on Instagram, “I have always been fascinated by the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna.
In all of the Indian folklore, I know of no other story, which is so intensely personal and yet has such an epic scale. It has been my dream to step into the world of Radha Krishna.
And I shall do so with my next film in association with @reliance.entertainment which will be written & directed by me based on this epic love saga for generations. #WindowSeatFilms.”
This news has not only excited us, but many Instagram users could not refrain themselves from throwing names whom they would like to see in the main leads.
Some expressed that they would be interested to watch Ranbir and Deepika, whilst everal users replied to his post that Hrithik Roshan will make for a perfect Krishna while others want Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the role of Radha on screen.
On the work front, Imtiaz is currently busy promoting Laila Majnu, which marks the directorial debut of his brother, Sajid Ali.
The film is being presented by Imtiaz himself and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Preety Ali. Laila Majnu stars Avinash Tiwari and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles.
