Sumeet Vyas has tied-the-knot with his longtime girlfriend, Ekta Kaul and is now man and wife.
The couple tied the knot in Kashmir in presence of friends and family. Their pre-wedding rituals, which included the haldi, mehndi and sangeet, kicked off on September 13.
We got our hands on pictures from their wedding and they are beautiful. The much-in-love couple looked pristine donning traditional attire.
Ekta chose a maroon coloured lehenga and Sumeet complimented her attire with a cream coloured sherwani.
The dreamy affair was attended just by their family and close friends. Following up will be a reception in Mumbai.
They got engaged a month back after secretly dating each other for months. Recently, in a heartfelt post, Sumeet explained what falling in love with Ekta felt like and why did he think she was the right person for him.
Ekta in a recent interview had said that “Marrying the man you love is a great feeling, but tying the knot with your crush is an achievement. I am happy that I am marrying Sumeet.
Actually, before slipping the ring, he had come to Jammu to speak to my parents and then he proposed marriage to me.
I don’t know why he felt I would not say yes immediately. I will never say no to him.”
Sumeet was earlier married to actress Shivani Tanksale. The two parted ways in 2017. On April 28, 2018, Ekta Kaul left everyone surprised by confirming her relationship with Sumeet.
The two are all set for a new beginning.
On the work front, Sumeet Vyas was last seen in Veere Di Wedding alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan whereas, Ekta was last seen in Mere Angne Mein.
