Rajpal Yadav Sentence to Three Months of Imprisonment for Non-Payment of loan

Bollywood comedy actor Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to three months of imprisonment for non-payment of a loan of around Rs 5 crore.

His company had reportedly taken this loan to produce a film which obviously bombed.

Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw today passed a judgement ordering that Yadav should be taken into custody and kept in the Tihar Jail.

Delhi-based company Murli Projects had filed a civil case against Yadav’s company Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment for failing to pay the loan of Rs 5 crore which the actor took in 2010 to make his Hindi debut directional film Ata Pata Laapata.

On the personal front, Rajpal Yadav and his wife Radha Yadav welcomed a baby girl in October this year.

He shared a picture of his eldest daughter on Instagram to announce the happy news to his fans.

His caption wrote

“My little Honey is now a Big Sister!! On this auspicious day of Navratri, we are blessed with another Daughter. #bigsister #newmember #blessed #newbaby #happytimes #happynavratri.”

Rajpal Yadav has worked in several Bollywood movies and is touted to be one of the best comedians we have.

Yadav also has a daughter Jyoti from his first wife Karuna. He got married to Radha after the sad demise of his first wife.

The actor was last seen alongside Varun Dhawan in Judwaa 2.
