Nickyanka aka Priyanka and Nick Jonas exchanged vows for the second time with a lavish, traditional Indian wedding.
The couple got married in a Hindu ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Sunday, PEOPLE confirmed.
A guest informed an Indian daily that the wedding functions started at 8 AM yesterday with a puja.
Nick Jonas joined Priyanka for the Mauli ceremony where a sacred thread is tied on the bride and groom’s wrists.
The guest added that Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra explained the significance of each customs to the Jonas family.
At noon, Priyanka’s haldi ceremony took place followed by a chooda ceremony, where her uncle gifted her 21 bangles which were bathed with milk and rose petals.
The guest added that the wedding ceremony started at 6 PM with a Sehrabandi pooja where a family member of the groom ties the turban.
“A cheer went up among the guests as the bride and groom came face-to-face at the mandap. Priyanka teared up during the jaimala session,” the guest revealed.
The event comes after the Quantico actress and “Chains” singer officially became man and wife Saturday in a Christian service officiated by the groom’s pastor father, Kevin Jonas Sr.
“It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that honours her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that honours Nick’s Christian upbringing,” a source recently told PEOPLE. “They are doing both.”
Chopra, 36, wore a red sari, while Jonas, 26, was also dressed in a traditional outfit and turban.
It is believed that Nick entered the wedding in a full-fledged ‘Baaraat’ on a horse and the couple also took ‘Pheres’ around the fire.
The couple’s epic wedding festivities kicked off on Wednesday with a puja ceremony at Chopra’s family’s home in Mumbai to spiritually celebrate the upcoming event.
Following their arrival at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, the couple held on Friday a colourful, co-ed a Mehndi ceremony, where they both had elaborate henna designs applied to their hands, and celebrated with a Sangeet, an over-the-top party with performances in honour of the couple.
Chopra and Jonas dated for a few months before getting engaged in July, when Jonas closed down Tiffany’s store to buy a diamond ring.
Famous guests at this week’s festivities have included Jonas’ brothers Kevin Jonas (with wife Danielle) and Joe Jonas (with fiancée Sophie Turner), Jack McBrayer, Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, and more.
Unfortunately, Chopra’s close friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could not make the trip to India.
The couple has now left for their reception party in Delhi.
