American pop singer Nick Jonas will be back as Alex in the action-adventure-comedy, Jumanji.
Jonas takes to Twitter to make the announcement and he writes:
“Guess who’s back… Let’s go people! The #Jumanji sequel is on the way and I couldn’t be more excited to bring Alex back to the big screen…”
In the 2017-film, Nick Jonas aka Alex was the fifth player discovered in the game and he essays the role of a young aircraft pilot who has been stuck in Jumanji for over 20 years.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle revolves around four teenagers who are transported into the video game world of Jumanji and currently the story of the sequel hasn’t been revealed.
The 2017 remake of the 1995 original film, set the cash registers ringing as the film earned $404 million domestically and $557 million internationally.
On the work front, Nick Jonas recently completed production on Roland Emmerich’s Midway and Lionsgate’s thriller Chaos Walking alongside Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland.
The film will hit the theatres on December 13, 2019.
Besides work, Nick Jonas was on a vacation in California with wife Priyanka Chopra and the Jonas and Chopra clan.
A few days back, Nick had shared a picture from the snow-capped Mammoth Lakes in California where the couple enjoyed the Super Bowl with their families.
