Stree is one of the biggest hits of 2018 starring Rajkummar Rao went on to have cash registers ringing at the box office.
The star now collaborates with producer Dinesh Vijan on another horror comedy titled Rooh-Afza also starring Janhvi Kapoor.
Scheduled to release on March 20th next year, the film goes on floors this June in Uttar Pradesh.
The film also sees Rao team up with Varun ‘Choocha’ Sharma yet again after Dolly Ki Doli.
This movie is set in Moradabad and inspired by a folk legend revolving around weddings, first nights and spirits.
Raj and Varun play two small-town commoners caught in situations that are spine-chilling but will simultaneously spark off plenty of laughs like Stree.
Rooh-Afza will be directed by Hardik Mehta who was the script-supervisor on Raj’s previous film Queen and co-writer on Trapped.
Rajkummar Rao’s future project is Mental Hai Kya opposite Kangana Ranaut.
As for Janhvi, her forthcoming films include the Gunjan Saxena biopic and Karan Johar’s Takht.
