Dimple Kapadia will be seen working with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh and Michael Caine in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming directorial Tenet.
The film, which is expected to release on July 17 next year, is likely to be an action epic evolving around the world of international espionage.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dimple Kapadia along with French actor Clemence Poesy who gained recognition by playing Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter movies has joined the team.
John David Washington, Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki have joined the team earlier.
The movie is being shot in seven countries, using a mix of IMAX and 70mm film.
Tenet producers are Nolan and Emma Thomas, whereas Thomas Hayslip is said to serve as executive producer.
Apart from this, the team also includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland and visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson.
The score is being composed by Ludwig Goransson.
Tenet will not be Kapadia’s first appearance in an English language film. She was noted for her portrayal of the title role in the American production Leela (2002).
As per media reports, Tenet is Nolan’s follow-up to his Oscar-nominated war drama Dunkirk that earned the noted filmmaker his first best director Oscar nomination.
Touted to an action epic film, Nolan’s next will be filmed across seven countries.
Warner Bros Pictures is distributing the film worldwide, which is scheduled to hit theatres on July 17 next year.
Kapadia was launched by renowned filmmaker Raj Kapoor at the age of 16 in teen romance Bobby (1973).
She received acclaim for her performances in films such as Rudaali (which earned her a National Film Award for Best Actress), Gardish, Krantiveer, Dil Chahta Hai, Being Cyrus, Finding Fanny and others.
The actor, who married superstar Rajesh Khanna, was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s 2015 film Welcome Back.
