According to an Indian tabloid report, there is a buzz that Kartik Aaryan could replace Akshay Kumar in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel.
A source tells the portal: “Kartik recently met up with the makers and has really liked the idea. If all goes well, the actor is all set to take the Bhool Bhulaiya franchise forward.”
The franchise film will also be reportedly directed by Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 helmer Farhad Samji.
Besides Kartik, other names such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Vicky Kaushal have been linked to this project.
Interestingly, Kartik previously appeared in Akshay’s song ‘Poster Chapwa Do’ recreation in the romantic comedy Luka Chuppi.
He will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s next with Sara Ali Khan.
Apart from that, Kartik will feature alongside Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in Pati Patni Aur Woh.
