After Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s confirmation of doing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Tabu has also signed the film.
If articles in an Indian newspaper are to be believed, the actor has been in talks with the makers and has really liked the script.
The source quote in the report reads as:
“She is expected to join the cast in January when the second three-month schedule kicks off in London and Rajasthan.”
Some have even said that Tabu’s role is a USP of the film and has a lot of weight age to it.
Interestingly, the De De Pyaar De actress did a horror-comedy like Golmaal Again before.
Similarly, this sequel will retain more horror-comedy elements rather than veering into the ‘psychological thriller’ genre.
The source confirms:
“But while Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a psychological-thriller with lots of laughs, the sequel is a proper horror-comedy with plenty of spooky moments.”
In addition, Tabu will also be seen in Jawaani Jaaneman which stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The actress will be seen in a glamorous avatar in the movie.
The film was slated to release in November this year but has been reportedly postponed to 2020.
Plus, she has also been working on the BBC mini-series A Suitable Boy, directed by Mira Nair, co-starring Ishaan Khatter and Rasika Dugal.
