Prabhu Deva’s iconic number Muqabla Muqabla is the latest song to get a 2019 makeover.
The makers of Street Dancer 3D have unveiled the first song from the movie, a rehashed version of the 1994 hit song from the film Humse Hai Muqabla.
The song features Prabhu, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan locking and popping with ease, as they sway to the classic dance steps from the songs.
While the original song was composed by A.R. Rahman, the latest version has been belted out by Yash Narvekar and Parampara Thakur, and written and composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
The third instalment in the ABCD franchise sees Varun and Shraddha come together once again for an epic dance movie. The film also stars Prabhu Deva in a leading role.
A dance epic based on the multifarious colours of dance and the unity that occurs between the two different groups coming together for a single cause.
Set in London, the film is about 2 rival dance groups from India and Pakistan.
These rivals have been competing against each other every time they meet until they eventually realise that they stem from the same root and have a common purpose to stand for their people from the Asian subcontinent.
Followed by the backdrop of a global dance competition, the film showcases how these underdogs stand strong against all odds.
Directed by dancing legend Remo D’Souza, Street Dancer 3D will be released in cinemas on 24th January 2020.
