The trailer for the emotional rollercoaster tale that is Panga has just released.
It mounts curiosity around the unusual storyline of Jaya, performed by the enigmatic Kangana Ranaut, a middle-class Indian woman and a forgotten kabaddi world champion who catalyses an inner desire to give a new meaning to her existing role as a wife and mother.
Produced by Fox Star Studios, Panga releases 24th January and also stars Jassie Gill, Neena Gupta, and Richa Chadha in lead roles.
The film is helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who also directed Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Batey Sannata (her debut) which was screened at in international film festivals like the Marrakech International Film Festival and the Cleveland International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
Ahead of the trailer launch, Ranaut is seen in pictures below sitting at the ticketing booth, all set for passengers to come and ask her for tickets to their desired destination.

In pursuit of this return, she faces the challenges of age stereotypes and new generation complexities which creates an upheaval in her life as she is torn between family responsibility and love for the sport.
As well as Kangana, the movie also stars Richa Chadha, Jassi Gill and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.
Panga releases worldwide on 24th January 2020 by Fox Star Hindi.
