The Forgotten Army Trailer: Kabir Khan Sets Foot on the Digital Space

Amazon Prime Video launches the trailer of the highly anticipated series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye.

Based on true events, the show traces the story of the brave soldiers of the Indian National Army (INA) who marched towards the capital, with the war cry ‘Challo Dilli’, to win back their country from the British.

The series tells the story of Lt Sodhi (played by Sunny Kaushal) and his troop of brave men and women, who fought a heroic battle for the freedom of India as part of Azad Hind Fauj led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

This regiment was formed by India POWs captured after the fall of Singapore.

In the 2 minutes 50 seconds trailer, the makers have included all the emotions of the series, which will instil the viewers with pride and love for these forgotten heroes who fought against all odds against the British army.

Sunny Kaushal as Sodhi and Sharvari Wagh as Maya are impressive in the trailer. Sunny has some delivers some Valliant and heavy dialogues in the series, which he does effortlessly.

Created and Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kabir Khan (of New York and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame) releasing on January 24, 2020.

The series marks the acting debut of Sharvari in a lead role, alongside Rohit Choudhary, Karanvir Malhotra, M.K Raina, TJ Bhanu, and Shruti Seth.
