Media reports have affirmed that Priyanka Chopra Jonas could be on board for Matrix 4.
The Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow film is being directed by series co-creator Lana Wachowski.
Chopra Jonas will join the previously announced Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris.
Although details about her character are not yet known, it has been reported that she will be shooting for this film whilst filming Citadel.
Reportedly, the film’s cast has been in fight training for weeks for production start, which will begin imminently in Northern California.
is a former Miss World and leading Bollywood actor who made her American onscreen debut in the ABC drama series Quantico in 2015.
Priyanka has starred in various films since then and is currently developing an untitled Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor at Universal in which she will star and serve as co-producer.
She was last seen in The Sky Is Pink as the main lead as well as co-producer.
In terms of future projects, she has an array of projects lined up.
We can expect to see her in Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes from by Robert Rodriguez and an adaptation of the Man Booker Prize-winning novel The White Tiger, opposite Rajkummar Rao.
She recently announced featuring in Russo Brothers’ Amazon series Citadel in which she stars alongside Richard Madden.
Plus, there have been further reports of developing an untitled Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor at Universal in which she will star and serve as co-producer.
