Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly died due to suicide at his Mumbai residence.
As per media reports, Sushant was apparently dealing with depression. If this is to be believed, it was his house help who called the police.
Rajput was just 34 years old. The actor was almost at the peak of his career.
With projects like M.S Dhoni, Chhichhore amongst others, fans have loved his work. In fact, he had garnered a massive loyal fan base for himself over the years.
Before acting, he was a key dancer in Shiamak Davar’s academy.
Then, he began his career with Indian television in shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and then eventually bagging the main role as Manav in Pavitra Rishta.
A few years later, his stint in Bollywood began with the successful film Kai Po Che! and subsequent successes with movies like Shudh Desi Romance, PK and MS Dhoni, to name a few.
His last film Chhichhore was about a father dealing with his son’s suicide attempt, in which he played a dual role of a young and elderly man.
Also, he was seen in Netflix and Karan Johar film Drive.
Sushant’s final film is Dil Bechara, a Hindi adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars, which is yet to be released.
Sadly, the actor’s passing away comes days after his manager Disha Salian committed suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise is a huge loss for the industry. He will be missed dearly. May his Soul Rest In Peace.
