After the success of Good Newwzz, Filme Shilmy learns that Raj Mehta could be uniting Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani for his next.
“Raj Mehta has signed Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in this fun film and the two will be romantically paired alongside each other.
The duo signed the dotted lines on Friday at Karan Johar’s office in Bandra,” a source exclusively told an Indian entertainment portal.
While details of the film are still under wraps, it’s another high concept film from the banner which is fronted by these two protagonists.
Interestingly, both Kiara and Varun were to work together for Mr Lele but for some reason, this film eventually shelved.
Having said that, we got to see them briefly in various portions and the ‘First Class’ song in Kalank.
This news transpired after both the actors were snapped by paparazzi outside Karan Johar’s office.
Since Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were clicked at the producer-director’s home, there are murmurs that both veteran actors could be appearing in a film too.
However, it is not confirmed whether or not this (if at all) would be the same film which is being helmed by Raj Mehta.
Good Newwzz starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
It became a blockbuster at the box-office in India and worldwide.
The comedy-drama tackled the ‘taboo’ subject of IVF and how this gets entangled between two couples.
