Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. He is set to fly to the US for immediate treatment.
A close friend reveals to a leading daily, “Baba is devastated. He has little children.
Fortunately, they are in Dubai right now with their mother. But breaking this awful news to them would be an ordeal.”
Thought Dutt is pretty shaken he is also certain of being cured. Says the friend, “It is curable. He needs instant and rigorous treatment for which he leaves immediately.”7
Although Sanjay has not spoken publicly about the diagnosis, he announced that he will be ‘taking a short break’ over health issues.
On social media today, he informed fans: “I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment.
My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon.”
Just a few days ago, Dutt was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness, today.
Earlier in the day, Sanjay faced discomfort in his chest. Subsequently, the KGF 2 actor had been facing issues in breathing.
As soon as he witnessed low oxygen saturation levels, Dutt was rushed to the hospital. Apparently, a COVID-19 test had been conducted too.
The good news is that the rapid antigen COVID test turned out negative. That came in as a huge sigh of relief to the and his family members as well as his fans.
However, since the test has low specificity, chances are that it could be missing a positive case.
