CBI Claims Not Ruling Out ‘Any Aspect’ in Sushant Singh Rajput Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clarified that it is conducting a professional investigation related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case and all aspects are being considered.

CBI said in a statement said that as of date, no aspect has been ruled out as of the date and the investigation is on-going.

The agency’s clarification came after the late actor’s family expressed concern about the delay in uncovering ‘truth’.

They made a statement today citing: “The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting a professional investigation related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. The investigation is continuing,” the agency said in its statement on Monday.

Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh wrote on Twitter – “We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth?”

Rajput’s family’s lawyer Vikas Singh had also tweeted:

“Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR.

The Doctor who is part of the AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”

Vikas is also quoted in media reports saying: “All attention is being diverted towards the drugs case. Today, we are helpless as we don’t know which direction the case is going in.

Till today, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not done a press briefing on what they have found out,

The lawyer had claimed that an AIIMS doctor on the panel investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report had shared these findings with him.

Sudhir Gupta, the head of the AIIMS forensic team said:

“No findings given to CBI yet… final meeting has to be scheduled. No conclusive opinion could be made just by seeing pictures. Our opinion will be clear and conclusive based on evidence,” Dr Gupta had said.

Lawyer Satish Maneshinde, representing Sushant Singh Rajput’s arrested girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, had urged the CBI to set up a new medical board “to keep the investigations impartial and free from inference”.

On June 14, the 34-year-old actor was found dead at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra.

Rajput’s father KK Singh on June 25 had lodged a complaint with Patna Police against Rhea Chakraborty, her parents and her brother Showik.

The late actor’s family has also named Rajput’s then-manager Shruti Modi and his house manager Samuel Miranda in the complaint.

Rhea Chakraborty has been in custody since 9th September and was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of organizing drugs for the 34-year-old Bollywood star, who was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.

Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family has accused Chakraborty of taking money from him, medicating him and playing a role in his death.
