One such short that has arrested the attention of the entertainment industry is Keith Gomes and Shabinaa Khan’s Shameless.
Much ahead of its release, the dark comedy thriller has amassed tremendous buzz in the circuit of Indian independent films competing under the Oscars live-action short film category.
The trailer of the upcoming short just dropped and content creators, artists and stars across the country have celebrated it, given that it is among a few Indian films that are eligible for consideration under the Oscars Short Film category.
Considering the theme of kindness in the film, some of the biggest names of the entertainment world have extended their support to its trailer.
Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Ananya Panday, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Kalki Koechlin, Guneet Monga, Bejoy Nambiar, Sidharth Malhotra and Neena Gupta are among the many stars and artists from Bollywood who have shared the trailer of the forthcoming film.
While actively contesting for Oscar consideration, Shameless was a finalist at the recently concluded 3rd edition of the Best of India Short Film Festival 2020 and it also premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival.
The short underlines the message of kindness, hope, humanity and decency, which are most relevant and important in the current pandemic era.

Shameless stars Sayani Gupta, Hussain Dalal and Rishabh Kapoor. It is directed by Keith Gomes, presented by Shabinaa Khan whose credits as a producer, include Bollywood hits, Rowdy Rathore, Gabbar and Laxmii.
It is produced by Ashley Gomes, Keith Gomes and National Award-winner Sandeep Kamal, Co-Produced by Girish ‘Bobby’ Talwar, with production design by Suresh Selvarajan, sound by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty (Slumdog Millionaire and edited by Huzefa Lokhandwala (Filmfare Award-winner for Delhi Belly).
