Yash Raj Films Announces Official Release Dates For New Films

Yash Raj Films (YRF) who has an exciting line-up of films have finally announced the official release dates!

Here’s the official line up of YRF and the release dates of their forthcoming films:

1. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, sta rring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, releases on March 19, 2021.

2. Bunty Aur Babli 2, Directed by Varun Sharma, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji releases on April 23, 2021.

3. Shamshera, Directed by Karan Malhotra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, releases on June 25, 2021.

4. Jayeshbhai Jordaar Directed by Divyang Thakkar, starring Ranveer Singh, Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah releases on August 27, 2021.

5. Prithviraj, Directed Chandraprakash Dwivedi, by starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood releases on Diwali on November 5, 2021.

Just last year, Aditya Chopra, the chairman and managing director of Yash Raj Films (YRF), has launched a new logo to commemorate 50 glorious years of the production house.

To mark celebrations of DDLJ‘s 25th Anniversary, Heart of London Business Alliance announced that a bronze statue of the lead pair will be unveiled in London’s Leicester Square.

Avtar Panesar, Vice President of special projects at Yash Raj Films said it is an honour to be the first film of Indian origin to be represented in ‘Scenes in the Square’:

“We are honoured that these Bollywood superstars have been recognized alongside the Hollywood elite, from Gene Kelly to Laurel & Hardy, and this is a great way to express the international appeal of cinema.”

Critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has also confirmed that Prithviraj will clash with Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey.

Besides these exciting line-up of films, YRF also has other awaited projects like Pathan, directed by Sidharth Anand, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Salman Khan.

Reports suggest that Pathan could release on 2nd October during Gandhi Jayanti, though confirmations are yet to be announced!
