Aditya Rawal, the talented actor and writer – son of Veteran artist Paresh Rawal made an impressive and succinct debut last year with ZEE5’s Bamfaad.
Now, in his second venture, Aditya is set to work with Anubhav Sinha and Hansal Mehta in their (currently) untitled thriller, which is said to be based on a ‘true incident’.
Speaking about the venture, Aditya exclusively shares with Filme Shilmy:
“It is terribly exciting to work with Hansal sir on a story as fascinating as this one. It’s been a pleasure working with the amazing cast and crew so far.
The role I am playing is a challenging one but the hard work we put in before we went on floors is holding us in good stead.
I consider myself blessed to have this opportunity and I cannot wait to share this film with the world.”
The film will also mark the debut of Shashi Kapoor’s grandson – Zahan Kapoor. Commenting on the same, both Hansal and Anubhav too have shared a few words.
Hansal tells the media: “With the subject at hand, I was very keen on doing this film with fresh faces.
Both Zahan and Aditya have been selected on the basis of their talent and potential.
The characters they play are very intricate and I`m sure the audience will love them too.”
Elaborating on the cast, Anubhav Sinha expresses: “Both Zahan and Aditya bring fresh energy and excitement to their roles.
Hansal and I wanted to cast new actors in this human story as we want the audience to feel they are watching characters rather than any star in the film with preconceived notions.”
“We`ve already started shooting for the film and the hard work these two are putting in is commendable,” he adds.
Mehta last helmed the acclaimed series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story on SonyLIV and sports drama film Chhalaang on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie is jointly produced by Benaras Mediaworks, T-Series along with Mahana Films and directed by Hansal Mehta.
