It is with great shock to report that Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla is no more.
The 40-year-old actor suffered a major heart attack and the senior Cooper Hospital official informed:
“He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago.” The actor is survived by his mother and two sisters.
Sidharth made his debut with Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na and later appeared in Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabi, Love U Zindagi but became a household name with his stint in Balika Vadhu.
He further gained popularity in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13, he had won the latter two.
In fact, when winning the Indian Big Brother, Sidharth spoke with us and spoke about his initial emotions:
“To be honest, I haven’t really got the taste of being outside because I haven’t really been out that much.
The only time I’ve had an interaction with people is at the gym due to me continuously shooting post the show.
For the past 2/3 days, I’ve been shooting, so I haven’t really gone ‘out’ and meet people. But on the way, the kind of reaction I have received is very overwhelming.
I’m so indebted to them (‘SidHearts’), I don’t know how to ever repay the kind of love and support these people have showered on me… It’s so amazing. I feel so good.”
Both he and Shehnaaz Gill – his good friend from Bigg Boss attended Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane as guests.
Born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai to Ashok Shukla and Rita Shukla, Sidharth’s family has roots in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
He completed his schooling at St. Xavier’s High School, Fort and later graduated in Interior designing from Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design.
Sidharth’s stint on Bigg Boss 13 proved his honest and fearless spirit. He was at the peak of his career.
He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the Shashank Khaitan directorial Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, in which he starred with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
May his soul rest in peace.
