Wizarding World is set to release the next Fantastic Beasts film Secrets of Dumbledore in April next year, Warner Bros announce.
Media reports outline the following plotline of the third instalment:
“Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world.
Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.
But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?”
So going by the title and crux of the movie, it certainly seems like we will be getting to know candidly about Dumbledore’s younger days at Hogwarts… Jude Law is expected to reprise his role.
However, Grindlewald – the antagonist is expected to be replaced with Mads Mikkelsen over Johny Depp.
Other cast members also include Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler and Jessica Williams.
Harry Potter franchise filmmaker David Yates is set to take the director’s seat and reportedly working from a script by JK Rowling and Steve Kloves.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore will now arrive on 15 April next year, bumped up from its original July schedule.
