Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap finally sees the light of day as the trailer is revealed today.
A remake of Ajay Bhupathi’s 2018-Telugu hit RX 100, the film is set in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand where Ishana (Shetty) meets foreign returned Ramisa (Tara Sutaria).
As their passionate romance blossoms, Ishana falls madly in love with her.
Things spiral out of control when the affair is disclosed to their elders, resulting in a breakup with a shocking twist.
The trailer indicates plenty of anger, violence/gore, emphasising sentiments of scorned and toxic lovers.
Ahan is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and his sister made her debut six years ago in Salman Khan’s Hero.
When the debut was announced, the Dhadkan actor went on record to share his sentiments. He expressed: “I take acting tips from Ahan. He inspires me. He is a very dedicated boy.
His debut film will go on floors in December and there can’t be a better combination than Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox. Ahan is in very safe hands and his journey has begun well.
Now, it’s his hard work, luck and talent. He has got a good start and the rest depends on the audience now.”
Tadap‘s shooting started in 2019 at a theatre named Central Plaza and is helmed by Milan Luthria, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios.
It hits the theatre on 3rd December this year, a few weeks before the release dates of ’83 and Jersey.
The original movie features Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in lead roles.
