Priyanka Chopra, who is amidst promoting The Matrix: Resurrections, speaks out a media report which cites her solely as ‘wife of Nick Jonas’. Screenshots of the article are shared on her Instagram story.
The screengrab quotes the actor speaking on Good Morning America about her co-star Keanu Reeves. Highlighting the text, Priyanka writes: “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’.” She further mentions: “Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IDMB link to my bio?” Priyanka also tagging her husband, singer Nick in her post.
Meanwhile, the icon will be playing the grown-up character of Sati, marking her first appearance in The Matrix universe.
