Zee Studios and Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts Ltd join forces for the family entertainer 36 Farmhouse, which will stream on ZEE5. The story (by Ghai himself) revolves around 3 kids who try every possible trick to own their mother’s will. The premise takes place at the farmhouse, it will exhibit the dichotomy between the rich and the poor.
Roping in Ram Ramesh Sharma (Dhoop Haskar Boli) as director, Subhash will also helm the music. Cast includes Amol Parashar (Sardar Udham), Sanjay Mishra (Kaamyaab), Flora Saini (Paurashpur), Barkha Singh (Breathe), Vijay Raaz (Gully Boy) and Ashwini Kalsekar (Golmaal).
Subhash Ghai, the legendary filmmaker of iconic films like Khal Nayak, Pardes and Taal says: “I believe change is the only constant. Especially now with OTT, people have started consuming so much content. It is amusing that we can reach out to so many people just with a click on their devices. 36 Farmhouse reflects the family issues of a lot of Indian families and sheds light upon the differences between the rich and the poor.”
