Applause Entertainment in association with Goldie Behl’s Rose Audio Visual Production and director Rohan Sippy collaborate for the series Mithya on ZEE5. The 6-episode show is set in Darjeeling. It navigates through the conflicted relationships between Hindi literature professor Juhi (Huma Qureshi) and her student Rhea (Avantika Dassani).
Dassani, daughter of actress Bhagyashree and sister of Abhimanyu, is set to make her acting debut. The series is adapted from the 2019 British Television programme, Cheat.
