Jayeshbhai Jordaar Secures Release Date
Divyang Thakkar’s directorial debut Jayeshbhai Jordaar is set to release on 13th May this year. It was earlier set to release in February this year but got pushed due to the Omicron outbreak. The movie is headlined by Ranveer Singh with Arjun Reddy star Shalini Pandey. Speaking about the role and picture, Singh says: “Jayesh is not your typical larger than life hero but what he does in the course of the story is heroic. And that is something I was attracted to. He evolves into a hero and what he pulls off is remarkable and truly super. He is a superhero of a very unconventional type.” Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah also star. Yash Raj Films and Maneesh Sharma back the film.
Noms For Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards Announced
The Royal Television Society (RTS), Britain’s leading forum for television and related media, reveals nominations for its RTS Programme Awards 2022, in partnership with Audio Network. The nominations were announced this morning via Livestream by journalist Boyd Hilton. The groundbreaking comedy We Are Lady Parts is nominated across 4 categories. The BBC leads the way with 30 nominations across the 24 categories. Followed by Channel 4 with 29, Sky with 10 and ITV with 8. BBC One, ITV and Sky Arts will compete for the prestigious RTS Channel of the Year award at the March ceremony. Comedian Nish Kumar will host the ceremony. RTS takes place on Tuesday 29th March at 6:30 pm at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.
The Khatra Khatra Show Streams On Voot
Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbaachiya are set to host and produce The Khatra Khatra Show. It streams from 13th March at 7:00 PM on Voot, followed by a TV telecast on Colors at 11 PM, Monday to Friday. Joining them will be choreographer-director Farah Khan. The comedy game show sees 50 celebrities undergoing funniest dares, awkward pranks and 150 + games. Bigg Boss 15 finalists Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat are expected to participate.
