Ek Villain Sequel Completes Shoot
Ek Villain 2, the action-thriller, concludes the last leg of the shoot and is set to release on July 8, 2022. The picture releases 8-years post the first instalment. It boasts of a multi-starrer including John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. It will again be helmed by Mohit Suri. He says: “It has been an incredible journey since day one and all of us had a great time. As we wrap the shoot, I cannot wait to begin the next phase of the production and have the audience watch the final product. I had the best time working with the entire cast, and the same has been reflected on screen.” Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series collaborate as producers.
Heropanti 2 Trailer Launched
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala launches Heropanti 2 trailer. The potboiler shows Babloo (Tiger Shroff) on behalf of the cyber cell is on a mission to nab the vicious magician-killer Laila (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). Besides action sequences and garish dialogues, we also see Tara Sutaria as Inaaya, the love interest. Choreographer Ahmed Khan is set to direct with AR Rahman helming the music. This Masala flick will release on April 29, 2022, in line with Eid festivities. The first instalment came out 8 years ago and marked Shroff’s Bollywood debut.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Digital Debut In Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix Next
Netflix announces Sujoy Ghosh’s next which marks Kareena Kapoor Khan’s digital debut. The film is a Hindi adaptation of the Japanese murder-mystery novel, The Devotion of Suspect X. It tells the story of a man who goes to extreme lengths to cover up a murder committed by his neighbour and her daughter. Joining Khan are actors Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The picture is produced by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, and Thomas Kim.
