Samer Singh Dawar Roped In For T-Series’ Tujhe Dhunde Meri Jaan

Model and actor Samer Singh Dawar gears up for his debut in T-Series backed music video Tujhe Dhunde Meri Jaan, a joint project by Filmy Brats Production, Soul For Screen Ltd. Zaigam Hameed Butt directs.

The track is composed by Raaz 3‘s Rashid Khan with Mirchi Music Award-winner Asit Tripathy at the main vocals. Tripathy is best known for his tracks in Hindi films like Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda. Lyrics are penned by Shakeel Azmi who has titles like Zeher and Thappad to his credit.

Dawar stars headlines alongside Srishti Jain, a popular star in Indian Television shows like Hamari Wali Good News (2020). Jain also makes her debut in Punjabi cinema soon. Filmed in the heart of London, it tells a story of love, heartbreak and separation. Dawar plays a musician in the video and marks his tribute to the city. He began his career as a background dancer and supporting artist. As such, he has featured in series like Never Kiss Your Best Friend on ZEE5 and Season 5 of The Royals on E!. His Bollywood appearances in titles such as Judwaa 2 and Housefull 4, among others.

“When it comes to ‘love’, London is a location that instantly springs to mind. Since I have lived there, shooting in the city was a must,” he says. “It felt poignant to return home for this crucial breakthrough in my career. I believe no other geographical setting could’ve done justice to our song, especially when it comes to the scenic beauty, sparkling lights and picturesque skies. Furthermore, I feel that the Victorian and urban tone of our video will resonate with viewers too.”

The video is set for a worldwide release on T-Series’ subsidiary channel, Pop Chart Busters from March 31, 2022.
