London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) Acquires New Title Sponsor

Blue Orchid Hotels is on board as the headline sponsors of London Indian Film Festival (LIFF). Festival director Cary Rajinder Sawhney describes: “Its owner Tony Matharu has not only been our most dynamic patron but in fact our first sponsor, back in 2010, so it’s very special to see this relationship growing as the festival expands year on year. The fest takes place 11 days from 23rd June – 3rd July. It runs in cinema venues across London as well as regionally in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds, as well as online on www.LoveLIFFatHome.com.

Sports-Biopic Jungle Cry Secures Release Date

The Sagar Ballary-directed Jungle Cry will finally be releasing in the UK and US on May 20, 2022. The film follows the incredible journey of 12 underprivileged children who came from the most extreme tribal areas, playing sports barefoot and went on to win the prestigious U14 Rugby World Cup in England. Abhay Deol (Hero), Emily Shah (Fortune Defies Death), Atul Kumar (Manto), Stewart Wright (Doc Martin), Julian Lewis Jones (Invictus) and Rhys ap William (Dream Horse). The film also features cameos by some of the top names in the sport, including world famous rugby referee Nigel Owens, Wales and British Lions fly half Phil Bennett and Collin Charvis, former captain of the Wales National Rugby Union Team. It is backed by Prashant Shah’s Bollywood Hollywood production, whose credits include My Name Is Khan and The Bruce Lee Project.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Trailer Revealed

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer has dropped. The picture releases 15 years after its first instalment came out. The glimpse presents horror and comedy, marking the return of iconic villain Manjulika. It steers away from psychological horror, towards supernatural with Stree-like humour. Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, Kiara Advani and Rajpal Yadav star in pivotal roles. Mubarakan’s Anees Bazmee directs. Cine1 Studios and T-Series are backing the picture. It also releases on May 20, 2022.
