Amazon Prime Video Unveils Major Indian Content Slate
Prime Video reveals over 40 new titles in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu at their ‘Prime Video Presents India’ showcase event in Mumbai. These contents include original films and series, which will release over the next two years. The company also launches Prime Video Store, its transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) movie rental service in India. Customers will now get early access to the latest Indian and international movies. This includes a rich catalogue of popular movies (award winners and franchises) from around the world on a transactional per-movie basis.
The Kashmir Files & Jhund To Stream On ZEE5 Global
ZEE5 Global, the largest streaming platform for South Asian content, announces the release of Jhund on 6th May and The Kashmiri Files from 13th May on the platform. Jhund stars superstar Amitabh Bachchan, directed by Nagraj Manjule. It is based on the real-life of Vijay Barse, founder of Slum Soccer. OM: The Battle Within Teaser Revealed
Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan present the teaser of OM: The Battle Within. With stylised and high-octane action sequences, the film shows Aditya Roy Kapur playing a soldier for the first time in his career. The teaser shows a glimpse of him fighting to save the nation. Dil Bechara’s Sanjana Sanghi is also roped in as the female lead. Backed by A Paper Doll Entertainment Production, the picture releases on July 1, 2022.
