Trailer of Jordan Peele’s Sci-Fi Horror, Nope, Drops
Oscar-winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, Nope. He acts as the writer, director and producer, under the Monkeypaw Productions banner. The film reunites Peele with Academy-Award recipient Daniel Kaluuya (Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers) and Steven Yeun (Minari) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who witness an uncanny and chilling discovery. Nope also co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock) and Brandon Perea (The OA). Ian Cooper (Candyman) is roped in as co-producer, with Universal Pictures distributing the movie. It eyes an August 12, 2022 release.
Zee Studios Reveal OM: The Battle Within Video Glimpse
Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan under his A Paper Doll Entertainment label join forces to present OM: The Battle Within. Prachi Shah crying about losing one son in a fire and the other facing a memory loss. It then cuts to Jackie Shroff, a governmental leader, providing top-secret nuclear project details. As he gets arrested for betraying the country, Om (Aditya Roy Kapur) is summoned to complete the mission. However, while fighting enemies, he ends up losing his memory. We are then told that he is the son of Jackie and the same child who faced the fire accident years back. What follows next is the fight of a son eager to protect his father’s honour, while fighting for his own. The movie also ropes in Sanjana Sanghi, Prakash Raj and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Directed by Kapil Verma, the picture releases on July 1, 2022.
JugJugg Jeeyo New Songs Out
Since the trailer for JugJugg Jeeyo emerged, anticipation and buzz are building amongst fans. The makers have now released the film’s tracks, ‘The Punjaabban Song’ and ‘Rangisari’. The first is a party track, which unites the cast, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. With Maniesh Paul joining. It is sung by Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi and Romy, with music and lyrics by Tanishk Bagchi and Abrar Ul Haq. The latter is a seductive, club dance track. It is a rendition of late classical vocalist Shobha Gurtu’s popular song Rangi Saari. This new version is sung and composed by Kanishk Seth and Kavita Seth. The movie releases on June 24, 2022. It is backed by Dharma Productions and Viacom 18. Raj Mehta directs.
