Deepika Padukone blazed our screens as the feisty, fiery and fierce Serena Unger in xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
After DJ Caruso welcomed popular Chinese singer-actor Wang Yuan to the film, it was revealed that Deepika will return to the fourth instalment of xXx.
When a fan asked him whether Deepika would be in the film, the director said “Yes!”
The filming commences in January 2019.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage was the third instalment in the series after the 2000 film xXx and 2005 one, xXx: State of the Union.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage received mixed reviews. But surprisingly the film did astounding business at the box office and is one of the highest-grossing films of Revolution Studios.
On the Bollywood front, Deepika last starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and received glowing praise for her portrayal of the mythical Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh.
Aside from work, there are speculations of tying-the-knot with Ranveer Singh in November.
