Kangana Ranaut Cancels Manikarnika Success Party in Solidarity with Martyred Jawans

Kangana Ranaut, who is riding high on Manikarnika‘s success, has cancelled the success party of the film which was arranged for tomorrow.

This cancellation has been done in cohesion with martyred CRPF jawans.

The terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir has shaken India.

The lethal attack has killed more than 40 jawans. The suicide car bomber used a wrong way to come on the highway with more than 350 kg of explosives loaded.

Heartfelt condolences are pouring in from every quarter of the country. Bollywood celebrities have started reacting to this ‘cowardly act’.

The horrifying terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama has been widely condemned by everyone on social media.

Shabana Azmi while condemning the attack, addressed the need to stop cultural exchange between India and Pakistan.

Azmi and Javed Akhtar turned down an invitation by the Karachi Arts Council today citing the dastardly attack on Indian CRPF jawans.

Shabana exclusively told a leading daily:

“Javed and I were invited by Karachi Arts Council for a 2-day event celebrating my father Kaifi Azmi’s birth centenary.

I appreciate that our hosts have mutually agreed to cancel the event at the nth hour in wake of the Pulwama attack.”

Talking exclusively with a leading daily, Kangana also reacted to the terror attack. She said:

“Pakistan has not only violated our nation’s security they have also attacked our dignity by openly threatening and humiliating us.

We need to take decisive actions or else our silence will be misunderstood for our cowardice.”

According to BBC News, Pakistan denies any role in the attack by militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad, which is based on its soil.

The attacks in both Uri and Pulwama were carried out by the same Pakistan-based terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed.

However, the death toll in the Pulwama attacks is double than the 2016 Uri attacks – which sparked surgical strikes by the government.
