After much anticipation around who the new leading lady of Naagin 5 is going to be, we are elated to reveal that it is the very gorgeous Hina Khan.
She will take ahead the legacy and essay the titular role of Naagin in the fantasy fiction show’s fifth edition that will showcase the love story of Naag and Naagin.
Speaking about the role, Hina said: “Naagin is a hugely popular franchise and I am very happy to be associated with it and thrilled to play the leading role.
While fantasy fiction is a new arena for me, it is equally fascinating. Be it the sets, overall look, and attire, storyline, or overall experience, it looks extremely promising.
I would like to thank Ekta Kapoor for believing in me and I am certain I will be able to bring her vision to life.”
While the release date of the show is not known yet, it is expected to come soon.
Dheeraj Dhoopar and Mohit Malhotra will also be seen playing pivotal roles in Naagin season 5.
Hina Khan started her television career with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She moved out after eight years of playing Akshara.
The actor then went on to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11. She ended up as the first runner-up in both the reality shows.Â
Media reports have suggested that the Naagin 4 finale will see Surbhi Jyoti and Adaa Khan joining Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai.
Hina has also apparently shot for the grand climax which will be all about the power of five elements.
After several films and web series, and even walking down the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, Hina made a comeback on TV as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
She soon quit the serial for her film commitments.
