Kavita Kaushik Talks Bigg Boss 14 Wild Card Entry

Kavita Kaushik, after many times her name being speculated in the media, has entered the Bigg Boss 14 house as a wild card contestant.

The FIR actor, who has become a household name on television, joins Filme Shilmy for an extensive and exclusive chat about participating in the famous reality show.

Sharing her initial sentiments, she tells us: “People from all over the world watch Bigg Boss. They enjoy it. And of course, I know that the platform is really big. So all the excitement that one gets before a really big project, excitement is there.

But of course, the fear of the unknown and unknown is going to happen. Sure. Because in some days when you’re a little low on energy when you’re missing home, then you’re craving for good food.

When you’re missing your comfort zone. I think that’s the time when two emotions, the frustrations and also lack of the life, one is used to the comfort zone that one is used to, I think brings out a little bit of a wild animal in everybody,” she says.

Kavita also reflects on a dark time in her life and how that has strengthened her as a person:

“I used to be very angry at the battle, a small phase of the depression with watching my father suffer cancer and losing him to it.

I’ve seen the phase of mine where it was really low, but it also made me very angry with the world, you know.

That was, I think, a sign of weakness. And that made me realise that we are taking out your sadness on someone who is like the biggest form of weakness.”

Using that difficult phase as a reference point, Kaushik has decided that she doesn’t want to engage in ugly fights and act as an inspiration:

“So I don’t want to fight in the House because it doesn’t because there are people who are way more talented than us and they don’t have the platform.

When those people on screen and when they see us in any uninspiring behaviour, I’m sure that brings out a feeling in them that:

‘Hey, you know what? Why are these people on that screen? Why isn’t it us? We have more love in our heart for beings than these guys do.’

So I feel that, as of giving good inspiration to the world. So these are the things that are really going on in my life right now.”

Having entertained us through various characters on-screen, Kavita hopes to be equally entertaining as a housemate. She explains:

“I’ve been working for the last 18 years, and then you have a career that, you know, runs on a span of about two decades. Such a show reality as opposed to people seeing me in iconic roles like Chandramukhi Chautala.

But I’m very certain that there are so many aspects of my personality, which are a lot of fun, which I’m hoping the audiences would like to see and they would enjoy

I’ve also grown as a personality in these years as a person. There are some good things about me.

There’s yoga that I’ve been doing for the last four years. I’ve been doing that just training. And there is a lot of good that I want to also share.

So I hope all these aspects come out of this. I’m hoping that if I go on like when I go in and I’m hoping that a lot of fun comes out.

I do a lot of comedy. I have a habit of people teasing everyone then cracking one-liners. So which I can be quite a breath of energy in the show, which especially this season at this point, it’s required.”

Well, here’s wishing Kavita all the very best for her stint in Bigg Boss 14 – Ab Scene Paltega!
