Netflix Announces El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Netflix will air El Camino: A Breaking Bad movie from 11th October onwards.

Despite the show revolving around the character of Walter White, the movie, which would focus on the character of Jesse Pinkman, who was always side-lined by White in the show.

Emmy-winner Aaron Paul plays the character of Jesse Pinkman, while Charles Baker plays the role of Skinny Pete.

In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future. 

Vince Gilligan, who had helmed the series, took over the director’s chair for the movie too.

The film would also feature Pinkman’s lawyer Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk, who got a spin-off series called Better Call Saul.

He had revealed to The Hollywood Reporter when the movie had wrapped up.

“I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it.

Do you know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret,” he had said.

El Camino is produced by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth, Diane Mercer and Aaron Paul, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
