Warner Music India Collaborates With Jjust MusicÂ
Marking their first move into mainstream Bollywood, Warner Music India announces a collab with Jackky Bhagnani’s Jjust Music. The deal aims to create ‘pathbreaking’ music and create more music stars from India. The deal’s first release is an English-language pop track by Tiger Shroff. This move marks another foundation for Warner after they previously launched the Maati label, which is dedicated to India’s fast-growing folk music genre. Meanwhile, the 2019-launched Jjust Music has introduced singles like Vade Mataram. This is headlined by major Hindi film stars like Akshay Kumar and Ayushmann Khurana.

Harsh Dedhia’s Never Kiss Your Best Friend Season 2 trailer is out. It sees original headline names Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh return as Sumer and Tanie, respectively. Season one ended with Tanie and Sumer’s breakup. After two years of separation, both come face-to-face as they work for the same production house, Meraki Studios. The drama is accentuated when Tanie gets attracted to actor Karan Saxena (Karan Wahi) and Samer gravitates towards Meraki’s heir, Lavanya (Sarah Jane Dias). Other cast members include Sapna Pabbi, Javed Jaffrey, Niki Walia and Deepti Bhatnagar who appear in supporting roles. 11:11 Productions are on board as producers.
Raja Krishna Menon’s Pippa Completes Shoot; Stills Revealed
Makers release three stills from Pippa to mark the shoot’s completion. Ishaan Khatter‘s the film’s lead can be seen in all the pics. He plays the young Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, an instrumental person in the Indo-Pakistan 1971 war victory. One particular image shows Khatter dancing to a song which is composed by AR Rahman and crooned by Arijit Singh. The film is also based on Mehta’s own book, The Burning Chaffees. Helmed by Airlift‘s Raja Krishna Menon, Roy Kapur Films and RSVP Movies board as producers. Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan are roped in as cast members and releases on December 9, 2022.
